Adamson and Low,
Cabinet Makers

BRANDING

Adamson and Low is a cabinet making business specialising in bespoke commissions. I devised a flexible brand identity to mirror the crafted elegance of their work.

The logo, with its interlocking A and L, represented the strong designer/maker relationship between the two partners. It also symbolised specialist woodwork joinery. I designed a centred and roundel version of their logo to enable easy application across printed and wooden materials.

Adamson and Low are the UK’s leading authority on milling, drying and working with sub-fossilised Fenland Black Oak. The identity’s colour swatch was inspired by the tones of this ancient wood.
